This El Nino pattern has benefited the Western part of the US and has left the East Coast struggling so far this winter. So when the opportunity presented itself, some members of the YRT decided to take a strategic strike to Colorado to get warmed up for the season. Steve Mapp, Tawrad Anwar, & Carlo Checri all met in Denver and it was on from there. They hit A-Basin and Keystone for quick couple days. "I was stoked to get some of the crew back together. Even though it would have been nice to have more time, it was just good to get my legs back and get my sticks in the snow." Anwar said.
The Yeti Research Team is looking forward to our two week tour across the Northern Rockies in February. But for now, strikes like these will suffice for the team. Next up on the list; our home Snowshoe Mountain and Taos. Keep posted on our latest travels and adventures.
